Selected 2008-2009 Norwegian Fulbright grantees

14 U.S. Fulbright graduate students will come to Norway to study and pursue research this year.

14 U.S. Fulbright Scholars will come to Norway to lecture and/or conduct research in Norway this year.

24 American graduate students and researchers have received Fulbright grants to pursue studies or research in Norway.

2006-07 US Fulbright Grantee Anne Bersagel is named NCAA Woman of the Year. Bersagel received the award -- one of the most prestigious that the NCAA bestows -- at the 16th annual NCAA Woman of the Year Awards Dinner on October 28. The award honors female student-athletes who have completed their eligibility and demonstrated academic and athletics excellence, as well as community service and leadership.

A total of 25 American scholars and students have been offered Fulbright grants to pursue research or study in Norway. In the course of the 2006-07 academic year, there will be US Fulbright grantees in Bergen, Drammen, Hønefoss, Oslo, Trondheim, and Ås.
