Fulbright Reporting Requirements

All Students and Researchers

  • First mid-term report: due December 1 to the US-Norway Fulbright office.

  • Final report: due no later than May 1, or one month before the completion of your project to the US-Norway Fulbright office. Please note that the final grant amount/excess baggage allowance will be withheld if we do not receive your report by this date.

Researchers Only – CIES Reports

  • Each Fulbright Scholar is required to submit a final report as a condition of his or her grant.  Scholars with grants of six months or longer are also required to submit an interim report at the halfway point of their grant.

Students Only – IIE Reports

  • Mid-term Report:  By the end of the month that marks the midpoint of your grant period.  For most of you, this would be on or about the beginning of the sixth month.
  • Final Report:  Not earlier than one month before the end of your grant period.  Note: The final month’s stipend may be withheld pending receipt of the Final Report.
